Your New Neighborhood

For the shopping enthusiast, the Ventura Blvd district offers boutiques, small shops, and sidewalk cafes. The Sherman Oaks Galleria is just minutes away from the Embassy Apartment community, and provides a great mall experience and several chain restaurants.
The Valley is also a thriving artistic community with dance shows, theater performances, and local concerts in the park. Art fairs and opportunities are yours to explore, and if you want to take a class or get involved another way, there are plenty of places to do so!
Are the outdoors more your style? The Embassy Apartment community is located close to Balboa Park as well as Coldwater Canyon—a peaceful, beautiful place to hike and explore. A variety of garden parks and city parks surround the area, too, and provide great places for picnics, sports, or a romantic evening walk.
A Step Farther
While there’s certainly plenty to see and do within a few steps of your own front door, sometimes you need to travel beyond the neighborhood. Luckily, the Embassy’s location near Van Nuys makes that easy for you. The San Fernando Valley is a five-freeway hub in the state of California, with the 101, 170, and I-405 all close to the Embassy in Sherman Oaks. Nearby, the Metro Orange Line can take you quickly to Downtown Los Angeles, Universal City, and Warner City.
