Welcome to the San Fernando Valley known as the world’s entertainment center. The San Fernando Valley combines rich cultural heritage with small town charm and big city lifestyles. We have compiled a Printable Welcome Brochure, which contains useful information regarding the Embassy Apartments neighborhood for our new residents.
The Valley is also a hub in the state of California with the I-405 (San Diego Freeway), US 101 (Ventura Freeway), SR 170 (Hollywood Freeway), SR 118 (Ronald Reagan Freeway), and I-5 (Golden State Freeway) all intersecting here. This makes the region a prime location for businesses, residents, and visitors.
Also, abundant are a variety of shopping experiences from major malls to small boutiques. The Valley is a wonderful artistic community featuring theatre, music & dance, live concerts in the park, as well as an array of restaurants for all tastes and budgets. There is something for everyone.
Sherman Oaks, close to two major freeways I-405 (San Diego Freeway) and the 101 (Ventura Freeway), serves as a gateway to the San Fernando Valley. The community is perhaps best known as the home of the Sherman Oaks Galleria, and considered by many to be the undisputed residence of the Valley Girl, a cultural label popularized by the song and 1983 movie of the same name. Two large shopping malls in the area, along with numerous smaller boutiques and plazas that line Ventura Boulevard, provide residents and visitors with endless window shopping and dining opportunities, not to mention the award winning Courtyard Marriott for your out of town visitors, which is conveniently located next to the beautifully renovated Sherman Oaks Galleries.
